First Visit

Our patients often comment on how, for a doctor's office, our patients sure seem to be nice and happy! That's good, because that's how we think it should be! We're here to help and serve you and we can do this best when you are comfortable and enjoy your visits with us.

How can we help you?

If you've already completed your admitting paperwork, great!  If not, after doing so we'll likely show you a short 5-minute video so you'll get a feel for what we do. Then you'll meet Dr. Graham.  The purpose of this first visit is to get acquainted and to gather the information necessary to determine if you may be helped by chiropractic.  Our Sumner area patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance.

We Listen

During a brief conversation and review of your health history, we try to determine if you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care. We’ll ask a few questions and do a lot of listening.

A Partnership
It takes two

The consultation also gives you an opportunity to interview Dr. Graham and learn a bit more about chiropractic. Since ours is a partnership approach to better health, it’s important that you’re comfortable with the personalities, procedures and policies of our office. The consultation is a great way to find that out.

The Next Step

If we don’t think we can help, we’ll tell you. If we think we can help, and you agree, we can usually proceed to the next step, which is to perform the appropriate functional assessments of your spine and related systems so we can gather the needed information. What we find will help us to help you!

Dr. Marc Asks some important questions of interest to Sumner residents - Chiropractor Sumner Dr. Marc Asks...

Can those with osteoporosis get chiropractic care?
Of course. When developing a care plan, we consider the unique circumstances of each patient. There are many ways we can adjust the spine. The chiropractic method we select will be best suited to your age, size and unique situation.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Sumner chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
